A former US marine allegedly planned to carry out an attack on Pier 39 in San Francisco over the holidays, according to a criminal complaint filed in court in California today. Everitt Aaron Jameson had supported ISIS on social media and discussed his plans with undercover FBI employees to conduct a San Bernardino or New York style attack, using weapons and explosives, in San Francisco. A search warrant was executed at his home on Wednesday and authorities found his will, and a letter saying ìlong live Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi,î saying ìyou all have brought this upon yourselves,î and charging ìyouíve allowed Donald Trump to give Al Quds away to the Jews,î in a reference to Jerusalem. He goes on to say ìWe have penetrated and infiltrated your disgusting country.î The FBI documents reveal that firearms, empty magazines, ammunition, and fireworks were also found at his Modesto home. The complaint also says Jameson was discharged from the Marine Corps for ìfraudulent enlistmentî for failing to disclose ìa latent asthma history.î
