Oklahoma stars Brown, Andrews to enter the NFL draft

Oklahoma teammates Mark Andrews and Orlando Brown will enter the NFL draft.

Andrews, a tight end, made his announcement on Twitter on Thursday. The redshirt junior won the Mackey Award as the nation's best tight end this season. The three-time All-Big 12 selection finished this year with 62 passes for 958 yards and eight touchdowns. He is projected to be selected in the first two rounds.

"I will miss my teammates, coaches, and friends on campus, but I am excited for this next step," Andrews said in the statement.

Brown, a left lackle, is projected as a high first-round pick. The 6-foot-8, 345-pound redshirt junior announced his decision on Twitter on Wednesday. He says he has had an "amazing" four years and "wouldn't want to be a part of any other university."

Brown was a first-team All-American, an Outland Trophy finalist and a team captain this season. He was a second-team All-American last season.

Brown anchored three of the best offenses in school history and helped quarterback Baker Mayfield finish in the top four of the Heisman Trophy balloting three times. He started all 40 games of his career.

Brown's late father, Orlando Sr., played for the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens.
