With a view to make smartphones appealing for a larger segment of market, Asus, the Taiwanese leader in mobile technology, has now announced permanent price reductions for seven ZenFones namely ZenFone 3 (5.2, 5.5), ZenFone Max, ZenFone 3 Max (5.2, 5.5) and ZenFone Go (5.0, 5.5).
Commenting on the announcement Peter Chang, Region Head - South Asia & Country Manager for Asus India said, "India is one of the biggest markets for us and we are committed to accelerating our rapid growth. Innovatively crafted ZenFones have been successful in attracting our discerning Indian customers, and we are confident of the future as well."
"In this New Year, we will focus on two pillars of our strategy - 'the first pillar' is providing best technology that will work in India and the 'second pillar' is attractive pricing. We plan to have aggressive pricing to make ZenFones the most preferred smartphone choice for the Indian Consumer," he added.
As such, let's have a look at the price cuts on the various smartphones.
Asus ZenFone 3
The ZenFone 3 is available in two variants. ZenFone 3 5.2-inch (ZE520KL) which was priced at Rs. 13,999 is now available for Rs. 11,999. ZenFone 3 5.5-inch (ZE552KL) model which was priced at Rs. 16,999 is now available for Rs. 14,999.
Asus ZenFone 3 Max
ZenFone 3 Max is also available in two variants. ZenFone 3 Max 5.2-inch (ZC520TL) model which was priced at Rs. 9,999 is now available for Rs. 8,499 while ZenFone 3 Max 5.5-inch (ZC553KL) variant which was priced at Rs. 12,999 is now available for Rs. 9,999.
Asus ZenFone Max
ZenFone Max (ZC550KL) is now available for Rs. 7,499, which was earlier priced at Rs. 7,999.
Asus ZenFone Go
ZenFone Go comes in two variants. ZenFone Go 5.0 model which was priced at Rs. 7,499 is now available for Rs. 6,499 whereas ZenFone Go 5.5 variant which was priced at Rs. 7,999 is now available for Rs. 6,999.
The company has announced that the price reduction will be across all major e-commerce sites like Flipkart, Amazon and leading retail stores including Asus Exclusive Stores across India.
