Common & Girlfriend Angela Rye Couple Up at 'The Chi' Premiere - Watch Trailer!

Common is all smiles as he poses alongside his girlfriend Angela Rye while attending the season one premiere of The Chi held at Downtown Independent on Monday (January 3) in Los Angeles.

The 45-year-old entertainer, who serves as producer, was joined at the event by creator Lena Waithe and stars of the series Jason Mitchell, Tosin Morohunfola, Chike Okonkwo, Shamon Brown Jr., Alex R. Hibbert, Jacob Latimore, Yolonda Ross, Michael Epps, Jahking Guillory, Kristina Emerson, Steve Casillas and Brian King.

The Chi, which is created and executive produced by Emmy winner Lena, is a timely coming-of-age story centering on a group of residents of the South Side of Chicago who become linked by coincidence but bonded by the need for connection and redemption.
