Ship with 50,000MT of fertilizer to arrive next week 
Agriculture Minister Duminda Dissanayake says that a ship with 50,000MT of fertilizer from Pakistan is scheduled to reach the island on 8th of this month.
However, the Minister said that several other ships are on the way bringing fertilizer ordered by the government as well as the private sector.
The Minister also said that fertilizer would be distributed among farmers as soon as the shipments are unloaded.
