It's that time of year again and football managers up and down the country are busy hitting the January sales - and Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United already seem to be busier than every other club.
Liverpool have already opened up their chequebook to the tune of £75m for Southampton's Virgil van Dijk with their attentions now turning to keeping Philippe Coutinho out of Barcelona's clutches before the month is out. A 15 point gap at the top is seemingly not enough for Pep Guardiola and he is eyeing reinforcements at Manchester City with a new centre back and one Alexis Sanchez high on his wishlist.
Jose Mourinho has his own list of demands too but will Manchester United's board accommodate them? We will have all the latest from across the Premier League and beyond right here throughout the day so pull up a chair, grab a coffee and settle in.

Live Updates
Jose Mourinho has dismissed reports that he may walk out on Manchester United this summer as “garbage.”
And the Old Trafford manager insists he is already looking beyond the end of his current three-year contract with the club and sees himself staying long-term in the north-west.
Mourinho was in defiant mood when quizzed about his future ahead of the FA Cup tie with Derby, with morning reports claiming club officials fear he is disenchanted with life at United.

Conte takes dig at Chelsea board

Speaking after the 2-2 draw with Arsenal, Conte bemoaned the fact that Chelsea have tightened their purse strings in recent seasons.
The former Juventus boss told Sky Sport Italia: “I do not aim high with my requests, especially as in my history I've rarely been given the players I asked for.
“I always ended up at clubs who were running an austerity programme.
“I just try to do my work. If someone arrives, good; if they don't, then that's fine too. I have to continue my work, either way.”
Tarkowski going nowhere

But he has signed a new four-and-a-half year deal which keeps him at Turf Moor until June 2022.
Clarets manager Sean Dyche told the club's official Twitter account: "We felt it appropriate to offer James a new deal on two levels. He's done well in the Premier League and secondly his contract was out of sync. And there's a few more we are talking to."
Coutinho latest news:

Barcelona are preparing an offer in the region of £133m and are desperate to sign the forward as soon as possible, even though he will be ineligible to play in the Champions League.
Liverpool had hoped to hang onto their star asset for the rest of the season, but Goal reported this morning that Coutinho is set to push for an immediate transfer.
Barcelona had three bids for Coutinho rebuffed last summer, but Liverpool have since accepted that it will prove impossible to hang onto the Brazilian for much longer.
Liverpool also need to recuperate some funds after spending £75m on Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk.
Lunchtime round-up from around the web

Mourinho is said to see the 27-year-old as a good fit for the team, though the executives are reportedly still putting their confidence in Luke Shaw, who has fallen out of favour with Mourinho after a bad run of form and injury issues.
With Philippe Coutinho's Liverpool exit looking ever more likely, the Reds are said to be interested in signing Monaco's Thomas Lemar as his replacement, the Mirror claims.
The 22-year-old was on the radar of Liverpool last summer, as well as Arsenal, but it looks like Anfield would be the preferred choice for the France international.
With just 18 months left on his contract, West Brom are hopeful Jonny Evans will commit to a new deal to keep him at The Hawthorns, the Mirror reports.
But with interest mounting from Manchester City and Manchester United the club may have to be prepared to sell him. Reports suggest United are willing to offer £20million for the defender, who spent 10 years at Old Trafford before moving to Albion in 2015.
Allardyce updates

The 63-year-old boss confirmed that England international Ross Barkley was likely to leave Goodison Park this month and said Everton were yet to receive any bids for struggling striker Sandro Ramirez.
Done deal klaxon!

The former Republic of Ireland goalkeeper joined North End in October but will now make the switch to Roy Hodgson's Eagles, who are currently 14th in the top flight.
Kiely has previously worked under Hodgson at West Brom.
In a statement on their official website, Preston said: "In an interim period Academy goalkeeping coach Jack Cudworth will move up to work with the first team goalkeepers at the club, whilst manager Alex Neil decides on the long term plan in that area of the coaching staff.
"The club would like to thank Dean for his contribution in his time with the club and wish him all the best in his future career."
Wolves want to bring Robbie Keane back to Molineux to help them secure promotion to the Premier League.
The 37-year-old is keen on a surprise and emotional return to the club this month.
He made his professional debut for Wolves in 1997 before moving to Coventry for £6million two years later.
Keane has been playing for ATK in India, where Teddy Sheringham is first-team coach, but may be able to secure an early release from his contract.
Tosun transfer latest
He said:
"I think personal terms are at the final stage. That might happen and we might get him registered for the cup."
Courtois to stay?

The Belgium goalkeeper's contract expires in June 2019 and he has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
Courtois also says "irreplaceable" compatriot Eden Hazard is eager to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge too. Hazard's deal runs until 2020.
"I'm happy at Chelsea and a deal is close," Courtois said last night.
"Has it been a distraction? Not for me. I'm just calm and relaxed because I'm tied to Chelsea.
"Despite the rumours and everything, I am focused on Chelsea and I'm happy here.
"Do Eden and I encourage each other to sign? Yes. He will say 'if you sign, I will sign' and I say the same to him.
"I think we are both happy at Chelsea, we both have a good part to play. We have been champions twice in the four seasons I have been here and can have our peak years together at Chelsea."
Runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City are packing more financial power than any other club in world football, according to a new study.
The Soccerex Football Finance 100, which ranks the world's top teams based on both their playing and fixed assets, money in the bank, owner potential investment and debt, was published on Wednesday.
City, who have dropped just four points in the league this season, lead the way ahead of Arsenal with English clubs dominating the top 10. Tottenham are fifth on the list ahead of seventh-placed Manchester United, with Chelsea in ninth.
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Arsenal will sign Greek defender Konstantinos Mavropanos from PAS Giannina.
Mavropanos will complete a move to the Emirates this week in a deal worth around £2m.
When asked about the deal after Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Chelsea on Wednesday, Wenger said: "Yes but he's not ready to play for us, we'll give him out on loan."
Mourinho keen on Moura?
Any hopes Liverpool had of getting their hands on Naby Keita this month have been firmly rebuffed by RB Leipzig.
The Reds agreed a £55million deal to bring the Guinea international to Anfield next summer in August.
But with Philippe Coutinho continuing to be strongly linked with a move to Barcelona before the January window closes there have been growing suggestions that Jurgen Klopp may look to bring forward the 22-year-old's arrival.
However, any talk of such a move has been shot down by the Bundesliga side.
