Deutsch has been named creative agency of record for Atom Tickets, the startup movie ticketing platform that’s backed by major studios Disney, Twentieth Century Fox Film and Lionsgate.
As the brand’s first AOR, Deutsch’s scope of work will include brand strategy, creative and production responsibilities. The agency’s first work for the brand is slated to launch in the second quarter.
Atom Tickets is billed as a first-of-its-kind social movie ticketing app. Launched in 2016, it enables consumers to search for films, invite friends, buy tickets, pre-order concessions and more.
“Deutsch’s strategic, data-driven approach and expertise in launching powerhouse digital brands were key drivers in selecting their agency,” stated Allison Checchi, chief marketing officer at Atom Tickets. “It is apparent that Deutsch’s team shares the same passion to revolutionize the movie-going experience and we’re thrilled to partner with them.”

The account will be led out of Deutsch’s Los Angeles office by Group Account Director Steve Sanders and Executive Creative Director Janet Higdon. The new assignment follows Deutsch’s recent AOR appointment for Anchor Hocking’s Oneida brand.
“Atom Tickets is transforming the ticketing process and we look forward partnering with them on this journey,” stated Kim Getty, President of Deutsch’s LA office.
