According to a report from The Diplomat, a ballistic missile fired from North Korea failed and fell upon a city in the country.

The report indicates that the missile exploded on impact in the North Korean city of Tokchon, and destroyed some buildings.

No assessment of the damage was made in the report, however, structural damage in Tokchon was confirmed using publicly available satellite photography..
