I can think of few better places to spend a holiday than at a stunning beach hotel. Panoramic views of the ocean, sand between your toes, elegant rooms to retreat to and great food sound like an amazing combination for the perfect holiday, don't you think?

 

Late last year I got to spend some time at one of the Middle East's premier hotels, the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas. The views were breathtaking and there was just something special about being able to step out of your hotel room and take a pleasant stroll down the beach a few metres away. 

There are tons of other stunning beach hotels around the world. I looked at a few and narrowed down five of the most picturesque properties that caught my eye.
