The Giants' coaching search continues to pick up steam. The first interview took place on Wednesday, and there will be more to come in the next five days.
Here's an update on where things after Wednesday:

Former Broncos running backs coach Eric Studesville was scheduled to interview on Thursday in New Jersey. But travel issues related to the weather forced the Giants to reschedule Studesville's interview until early next week, according to a person familiar with the situation.
Studesville, who was the Giants' running backs coach from 2001-03, is facing an uphill climb because of his lack of experience in leadership positions. The 50-year-old has never been a coordinator and he went 1-3 in a stint as Broncos' interim coach in 2010.

Interim coach Steve Spagnuolo got the first interview for the full-time job on Wednesday. It made sense for Spagnuolo to bat lead-off for logistical reasons, as he's in the building and the Giants brass is set to hit the road this weekend for the rest of the interviews. Spagnuolo went 1-3 as interim coach and the Giants ranked 27th in the NFL in points allowed this season, so the 58-year-old is considered a long shot.
