West Ham nearly retake the lead after Ayew's effort is stopped by Lloris. Noble's corner is cleared but Zabaleta boots the ball way up the pitch, finding a wandering, offside Carroll, who receives a yellow for booting the ball away.
Anything Obiang can do, Son can do, too!
Lamela feeds Son, who sends a rasping effort past a hapless Adrian to equalise and set up an incredibly nervy final few minutes for West Ham. Two strikes of the highest quality this evening.
Tottenham win a succession of corners but Wanyama makes an almighty hash of his shot, which spins to Eriksen.
Son jinks and lollipops in an attempt to bamboozle the wily Zabaleta, but his attempted cross is easy for Adrian to claim.
Pochettino set to roll the dice with Llorente, but is it too late? 10 minutes remaining.
It should be 2-0 to West Ham! Obiang picks up the ball on the left flank and delivers a peach of a cross for Kouyate, who failed to execute his header, letting Spurs off the hook while doing so.
Tottenham look to respond immediately through Kane but Adrian is there to deny him on both occasions.
Tottenham now making a double change - Sissoko off for Lamela, while Dier is withdrawn for Victor Wanyama.
Out of absolutely nothing, Obiang beats Lloris from all of 35 yards with an absolutely incredible strike that gives the Frenchman no chance. It's West Ham's first shot on target, but what a shot it was. Stupendous from the Spaniard, who gives the Irons an unlikely lead.
Tottenham inching closer to the opener as Kane shows remarkable composure to control Eriksen's pass and work the ball onto his left foot. His shot is blocked by Zabaleta, and the lofting ball is not dealt with by Adrian, who is perhaps lucky not to give away a penalty after colliding with Alli.
Zabaleta attempting to stifle Tottenham's flow by staying down to tie his laces. The Argentine was in danger of giving away a penalty on Kane, but Dean never gives away soft spot-kicks.
Tottenham cranking up the pressure as Eriksen and Alli see efforts blocked and spurned. Wonderful play by Aurier to find Alli in the box, but West Ham are still holding on.
Alli gets some joy down the right and managers to find Son in space in the area, but a multitude of deflections help Adrian to pick up the Korean's effort with little fuss.
Claims for a penalty on Alli waved away by Dean as Tottenham pick up the pace. Eriksen, Son and Kane all looking to pick the West Ham lock, but the latter's touch brings to an end any growing momentum.
Kane goes for the spectacular from all of 30 yards, but his rifled effort does not trouble Adrian in the slightest.
Kane almost sets Aurier free in the penalty area but Masuaku reads the danger well.
West Ham then try to break through with Hernandez and Kouyate but were thwarted by Sissoko, who mopped up the danger.
Job half-done for West Ham. Can Alli and co break their resolve in the second half?
Eriksen almost finds the back of the net courtesy of a wicked deflection, but the ball just whips over for a corner.
Alli then heads the resulting set-piece, and the miss brings to an end a tepid first-half. Tottenham have not tested Adrian as much as they would have liked, while West Ham's defend first, ask questions later approach has not helped garner an entertaining contest.

Son then turns brilliantly past Zabaleta, but West Ham eventually recover and clear.
Hernandez almost squeezes the ball through for Obiang but the Mexican cannot navigate a safe passage between Vertonghen's legs.
The Belgian then finds Aurier with a wonderful, ranging pass, but the Ivorian's lay-off was fluffed by Kane, who miscontrolled.
