The most anticipated TV soap of 2018 is finally here. Well, it would be more precise to say that the teaser of the most awaited TV show of this year is here and we’re talking about third season of Naagin, which is expected to hit our TV screens soon. At least that’s what the teaser that released on Color’s UK Twitter page hinted towards. In the promo, we see a woman wearing a white churidar kurta being dragged by two men. She is left to die in an old, dilapidated temple. We are not able to see the face, but she looks a lot like Qubool Hai fame actress Surbhi Jyoti.
With snakes closing in towards her unconscious body and the woman opening her eyes all of a sudden, it seems like this season of the TV series is going to keep the audiences at the edge of their seats. Well, we all saw how Rocky (Karanvir Bohra) turned grey at the end of the second season. There’s a buzz doing the rounds that this season, in particular, will be a lot like the Vampire Diaries and Twilight with supernatural things juxtaposed in a modern setting. If reports are to be believed, Surbhi or Krystle D’Souza , whoever essays the lead role will be playing a college going girl. Furthermore, reports indicate that actresses like Tanya Sharma and Vindya Tiwary are also being considered for the role. Anita Hassanandani, is however, expected to be playing the role of the main antagonist in this supernatural TV drama, reports state. Take a look at the promo video below:
Naagin, as a series began in 2015 with Mouni Roy playing the lead. The popular TV series has already completed two successful seasons with Adaa Khan, Arjun Bijlani and Karanvir Bohra playing pivotal roles. Mouni, who is all set to debut in Bollywood with Reema Kagti’s Gold, opposite Akshay Kumar, was not able to give time to the show, which is why TV Czarina, Ekta Kapoor and her team decided to go in for a replacement. Earlier the buzz was that Kapoor wanted to replace Mouni with a new face in the industry, but it was soon decided that Surbhi , Krystle and Anita would star in the show. Well, we are still awaiting to see who essays the lead role and whether she will be able to fill in the shoes that Mouni left. Stay tuned for more TV related news.
