(MENAFN) Officials linked to the program confirmed Saudi Arabia Muslims' Destination project is to provide visas to tourists as well as Umrah packages, aiming to develop the tourism sector.

Saudi Commission for Tourism & National Heritage (SCTNH) has commenced the project as President Prince Sultan Bin Salman is set to grow cooperation amid the private and public sectors.

The purpose of the initiative is to serve pilgrims and guests while accomplishing the Vision 2030 in goals that include improving private sector involvement in tourism, and raising pilgrims' numbers, as confirmed by director of Saudi Arabia Muslims' Destination initiative Khalid Tahir.
