Vacancy Description
We are committed to take on the challenge of cancer’s complexity, evolution and drug resistance through the discovery of innovative new approaches to cancer treatment. To facilitate this we are building a state-of-the-art Centre for Cancer Drug Discovery so we can discover even more innovative cancer drugs; we are building capacity in cancer immunology and immunotherapy and we are integrating the ICR’s drug discovery teams with research on cancer evolution and immunology, so that researchers can collaborate to combat cancer’s ability to adapt, evolve and evade the immune system.
With funding from the CRIS Cancer Foundation ICR is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team leader to establish an independent research programme focusing on immunotherapy to help us build a critical mass of immune-oncologists. This new team will be expected to work in association with Professor Mel Greaves FRS, Professor Raj Chopra and Professor Alan Melcher.
