Leeds agree Yosuke Ideguchi deal

07:55: Leeds have confirmed a deal is in place to sign Japan international Yosuke Ideguchi.

The 21-year-old will travel to West Yorkshire next week to undergo a medical and put the finishing touches to the transfer.

Leeds have confirmed he will spend the rest of the season with Spanish partner club Cultural Leonesa once the deal is over the line.

Leeds sign Aopo Halme

07:30: Leeds have confirmed the signing of Finnish defender Aapo Halme.

The 19-year-old moves to Elland Road from HJK Helsinki for a fee in the region of £500,000.

He has put pen to paper on a four-year deal.

Halme will initially link up with Leeds’ Under-23 team.

Wolves sign Rafa Mir

07:00: Wolves have confirmed the signing of striker Rafa Mir from Valencia.

Mir, 20, has put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half-year deal.

He said: “I’m really excited to play with this team and to try and help the players achieve all the goals that the club has.

“It’s a club that has already played in the Premier League. It’s one of the biggest clubs in England and I’m really looking forward to my time with Wolves.”

Sam Johnstone latest

06:30: Aston Villa owner Tony Xia has indicated Sam Johnstone will see out his loan spell.

The Manchester United goalkeeper is due to spend the season at Villa Park but it has been suggested West Brom fancy snapping him up this month.

When asked about Johnstone, Xia said: “Just like all stories to fill with newspaper space.

“He will be with us, hopefully we go up then he will be permanently. I think Villa is his fortunate place…”
