Man Utd news: Paul Pogba will be happy if Jose Mourinho signs this player - Shaka Hislop
MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho will get the best out of Paul Pogba if he signs Napoli midfielder Jorginho, according to pundit Shaka Hislop.
Italy international Jorginho has been linked with a move to Manchester United in recent weeks.
The 26-year-old has impressed at Napoli since joining from Verona in 2014, making 111 Serie A appearances.
Hislop can see him fitting in alongside Nemanja Matic in the United midfield, which would allow Pogba to play further up the pitch.
“I think it will (be a good fit),” Hislop told ESPN FC.

If that allows Paul Pogba to play further up, that’s great for Pogba, great for Manchester United
“I say this because you see Manchester United, you see how good Paul Pogba was in a more advanced role.
“Maybe Jorginho is the man if Jose Mourinho is intent in playing with two midfielders in front of his back four.
“Maybe Jorginho is the man to line-up alongside Nemanja Matic.
“If that allows Paul Pogba to play further up, that’s great for Pogba, great for Manchester United and certainly a hit for Jorginho as well.”
United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan could leave the club this month and a return to Borussia Dortmund would be good for all parties, says Hislop.
“I’m going to put this down as a hit again,” the former West Ham goalkeeper added.
“Mkhitaryan, fantastic footballer. Going the way of Shinji Kagawa, goes to Old Trafford, doesn’t quite work out, goes back to Dortmund and looks outstanding.”
