Dale Dillon

Dale Gene Dillon, Sr., 80, of Findlay passed away at 6:22 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center.
He was born on November 1, 1937 in Putnam County, Ohio to the late Ralph E. and Orpha M. (Winkle) Dillon. He was the last surviving sibling of six.
Dale first married Marilyn Blosser and they divorced. He later married Okie Dillon, and they divorced.
Surviving Dale are his children Dale Dillon, Jr. of Toledo, OH; Rick (Lisa) Dillon of Franklin, OH; Dawn Breitigam Bell of Rawson, OH; and Mike Dillon of Findlay. Also surviving are eight grandchildren: Amanda (Nick) Hinds, Tyler (Ashley) Dillon, Emily Dillon, Feather (Jeff) Brown, Joshuah (Ashley) Breitigam, Marcus Breitigam, Chase Bleile, Kaden Dillon and Lydia Dillon; and nine great-grandchildren: Olivia, Noah and Easton Hinds, Sutton Brannon; Bellamy Dillon; and Sophie, Peyton, Loghan and Declan Brown.
Dale was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert E. and James E. Dillon; and sisters, Maxine Smith, Helen Binger and Marjory Marsh.
He graduated from Findlay High School and worked as a self-employed mechanic at Dale’s Moped Shop. He enjoyed tinkering and working on mowers, mopeds and scooters for other people. He also enjoyed his time at Lucky’s over the years.
He was very loved and returned that love and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2018 at KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, OH.
The funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the funeral home with Rev. Brett Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in Knollcrest Cemetery, west of Arcadia, OH.
