The ‘Government of Karnataka – Department of Tourism’ recently organized a press conference regarding the unveiling of the logo of “Karnataka International Travel Expo-2018″ on 2nd Jan 2018 at Radison Blu, Bengaluru. It was followed by the details of the event which would be held from 28th February – 2nd March 2018 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC).
The Expo will be a platform for networking with the travel trade industry and will also attract over 1,000 delegates facilitating over 10,000 pre-matched appointments to bring together the international buyers and sellers for meetings and education forums. The Expo would assist in increasing the overall growth of the tourism sector and would have international professionals for promoting Karnataka as a preferred destination. The event is also supported by various associations.
Priyank Kharge, Minister for Tourism, IT & BT, Govt. of Karnataka said “‘Karnataka International Travel Expo’ will offer the impetus to the inbound travel and tourism and would definitely enhance the marketing efforts of Karnataka Tourism to promote our destinations to the travel-trade from all over the world”.
The event will also feature an exclusive Karnataka Pavilion: Destination Karnataka.
