Disciplinary board of Dhaka University has recommended its syndicate to suspend 15 students for their alleged involvement in admission forgery.
Members of the disciplinary board made the recommendation in a meeting today, DU Vice Chancellor Md Akhtaruzzaman told The Daily Star.
These students got admitted to the university's different departments in 2016-2017 session through forgery, he added.
The allegation of their involvement in admission forgery has been proved by the Criminal Investigation Department, mass media and different faculties of the university, he added.
Three of them are mastermind of the forgery group who helped the rest 12 students to get admitted to the university through illegal means.
