Somalia fires top ministers in reshuffle

Somalia's prime minister, Hassan Ali Khaire, fired three key ministers today after weeks of political conflict with opposition and clan leaders.

Yusuf Garad Omar, Trade Mminister Khadra and all lost their jobs.


No reason was given for the reshuffle, but it came amid criticism the had failed to consult clan elders on their decisions.
