Felony arrests
Burglary — Donald Dean Leiter, 43, of the 1500 block of Stardust Way, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Leiter Tuesday on felony charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree theft and possessing methamphetamine, and on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree criminal mischief. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday on $40,000 bail.
Drugs — Lauren Alexandra Hafterson, 31, of the 200 block of Loto Street, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Hafterson Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on a sanction for violating her probation on a prior meth-possession conviction. She remained lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.
Vehicle Theft — Angelica Marie Rodriguez-Fuller, 21, of the 200 block of North Tenth Street, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Rodriguez-Fuller Tuesday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and a misdemeanor count of possessing methamphetamine. Jackson County Circuit Court charged her Wednesday with a felony count of possessing heroin. She remained lodged in jail Wednesday on $15,000 bail.
Vehicle Theft — Benjamin Otis Ovenstone, 23, of the 200 block of North Tenth Street, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Ovenstone Tuesday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and attempting to elude police in a vehicle, and on misdemeanor counts of possessing methamphetamine and recklessly endangering. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday on $25,000 bail.
Public Indecency — Gerald Andrew Frigaard, 34, of the 600 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Frigaard Tuesday on felony charges of public indecency and possessing methamphetamine, and for violating his probation on a prior meth-possession conviction. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.
Coercion — Joshua Devan Alves, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Alves Wednesday on a felony charge of coercion, misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault, harassment, strangulation and third-degree theft, and on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $25,000 bail.
Drugs — Haley Renee Keller, 26, of the first block of Echo Way, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Keller Wednesday on a felony count of possessing heroin, a misdemeanor charge of of felon in possession of a restricted weapon and for violating her probation on prior heroin-delivery and heroin-possession convictions. She was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.
Vehicle Theft — Jon Charles Winchester, 61, of the 200 block of South Side Road, Grants Pass. Jacksonville police arrested Winchester Wednesday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior first-degree theft conviction. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.
Vehicle Theft — Samantha Gean Newton, 28, no known address. Medford police arrested Newton Wednesday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and first-degree theft and on misdemeanor counts of attempted unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, second-degree theft and two counts of unlawfully entering a vehicle. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $35,000 bail.
Drugs — James Michael Shewmaker, 49, of the 200 block of West 11th Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Shewmaker Wednesday on felony charges of delivering methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school and possessing methamphetamine, and for violating his parole on a prior meth-possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.
Aggravated Identity Theft — Danielle Lynn Murrey, 36, of the 300 block of North Central Avenue, Medford. On Wednesday, Murrey made her initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on two felony counts of aggravated identity theft and on misdemeanor counts of attempted first-degree theft and attempted second-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on her own recognizance.

Medford police arrested Agnew Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor count of third-degree theft and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior meth-possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.
Drugs — Tyrone L. Smith, 38, no known address. Central Point police arrested Smith Wednesday on felony warrants charging him with possessing methamphetamine and heroin. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $17,500 bail.
