The Polk County Sheriff's Office is conducting a homicide investigation in Polk City today.

According to a press release, deputies responded to a home at the 7400 block of Berkley Road in Polk City at about 1:45 p.m. today after a call came in about a deceased male in the home.

Deputies have determined the death to be suspicious, though no other information is currently available.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd is expected to brief the media and provide further information at 5:30 p.m. today.
