DHAKA: A young man was found hanged at his residence in the capital’s Kafrul thana area in Mirpur Wednesday night (January 3).
The deceased was identified as Rabby Hasan Babu, 20, hailed from Charmohal village under Ramgati upazila of Lakshmipur.
Ibrahim, a neighbor of the deceased, said that Rabby used to live with his parents in North Ibrahimpur area of Kafrul. His father works at a hotel in Mirpur section-14.
Rabby’s mother started to scream after seeing his son hanging at the room at the night, said Ibrahim.
He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the on-duty physician pronounced him dead.
The body was kept at the hospital morgue, said DMCH Police outpost Sub-Inspector (SI) Bacchu Mia.
