(MENAFN - Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: Member National Assembly from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Murad Saeed on Thuresday asked Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar to take notice of plights of Pakistani expatriates in Saudi Arabia.
In a letter to the chief justice, the MNA said that Pakistani expatriates have been facing immense problems as their guarantors were not paying them their salaries or pay half salaries.
He claimed that besides their passports were being confiscated not allowing them to return to Pakistan and subjecting them to forced labour.
PTI MNA said that the concerned authority of Pakistan has no details of the Pakistani expatriates and was least bothered to take care of them.
'Compared to Pakistan, the Indian government has signed a Labour protection agreement under which its expatriates were being paid better,' he written, adding that under Article 184 (3) of the Constitution of Pakistan direct the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to submit details of problems being faced by Pakistani expatriates.
