The White House suggested Wednesday that some reporters may physically be present next week when President Trump distributes mock "awards" for reporting that he has called "dishonest and corrupt."

During the press briefing Wednesday, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders was asked to provide more details on a tweet Trump sent out Tuesday that said next week he would call out "reporting in various categories from the Fake News Media" that he found dishonest.

Asked if it would be an live event that people can watch, Sanders declined to offer specifics, but suggested that some reporters might be in the room when it happens.

"We’ll certainly keep you posted," she said. "It might be hard for him to present trophies if you guys aren’t there. But I don’t know we’ll have to wait and see what happens Monday."

"I certainly don’t want to spoil anything, but my guess is that there are quite a few individuals that could be up for those awards and beyond that I think we’ll have to see what happens on Monday," said Sanders.
