Cagayan de Oro City is ready to host its first ever B2B travel event in the region of Northern Mindanao and is expected to witness a smart conglomeration of the top stakeholders of the tourism industry on 21st and 22nd February, 2018.
These regions have been chosen as their capital and important cities have direct sea links to and from Laguindingan Airport in Misamis Oriental.
Charles Lim who is the President and CEO of Selrahco Management & Consultancy who is the event organizer has mentioned that the tourism potentials have become brighter presently as they welcome 2018.
He then went on to add that the commercial and economic boom in Cagayan de Oro and nearby cities including Malaybalay, Ozamiz, Gingoog, Iligan and Valencia has triggered a huge market demand.
The other participants at this grand event include travel agents, civic clubs, organizations, schools and different travel groups from the area with the complete support of the Department of Tourism region.
The regional directors of DOT have all been invited to lead the delegations of from other participating regions including hotels, resorts, tour operators and tourist attractions.
This prestigious one-day B2B event would be placing sellers in direct contact with a large number of potential buyers on a table-top discussion.
Travel Xchange would be primarily benefitting the local travel agents, tour operators, resorts and tourist attractions, government units in Northern Mindanao and so on.
It also aims at different corporations and groups associated with the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) industry.
