In 2017, we saw some great performances in Bollywood from the leading actors. While some actors impressed us with their new avatar, some slipped into their character so well, that they forced us to shower them with praises. To know that, which actor has put up the most spectacular performance, we conducted a poll and to be honest we are not surprised by the results. Despite having toughest contenders in the list, the audience selected a winner by a unanimous decision.
With a whopping 68 percent of votes, the audience chose Hrithik Roshan as the best actor of 2017 for his phenomenal performance in Kaabil. The actor, who played the character of a visually impaired person in the revenge thriller drama, had received immense praises and appreciation from critics and audience. HR crushed Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan and Varun Dhawan to grab the best actor title of 2017. In fact, by looking at the performances of the last year, we expect Hrithik to sweep away all the awards for his powerful portrayal in Kaabil. Shah Rukh Khan earned the second position in the list but received on 16 percent votes, which itself tells you the story that he has been beaten by Hrithik by a huge margin. Coming to Salman Khan, the 52-year old actor has got only six percent of votes which clearly indicates that his mentally abnormal character from Tubelight failed to strike the chord with the masses. While Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan tied with four percent each for Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Rajkummar Rao, unfortunately, stood at the last place with just two percent of votes. Despite his brilliant act in Newton, it seems the actor failed to find a connect with the audience.
