Wacky alien invasion fears as huge light appears in night sky – which NO ONE can explain

The baffling footage shows the huge ball of light shining through the clouds in the night sky.

When the camera zooms in it becomes clear the light is emanating from a circular object.

It hangs there for several minutes before eventually moving further away and disappearing in the distance.

Given that it was spotted at night-time, the object can’t have been the sun and looked far too bright to be the moon.

And viewers of the incident over Ocana, Colombia, were quick to offer their own suggestions of what caused the sight.

Some believed it was an alien spacecraft, with one saying it must signify “the end of the world”.

But another disagreed, adding: “The light is from a flare parachute used during military actions.

“They illuminate large areas at night, usually for parachutes, landings and observational operations.

“Here it looks more dramatic because the sky is cloudy.”

Local media said both the authorities and residents could not find a definitive explanation.
