Khloe Kardashian will reveal her baby’s gender on an upcoming episode of her family’s reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The 33-year-old star is six months pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Tristan Thompson. And with the news of her pregnancy announced on the E! series, fans were quick to ask Khloe if she was planning any more big reveals on the programme.
When one fan asked, “Will you be revealing the gender of your baby on #KUWTK on January 7th?”, Khloe replied, “We will be revealing on the show but not this week.”
It has been widely reported that Khloe and Tristan are expecting a baby boy, although they have yet to confirm or deny this news.
Khloe has been flaunting her growing bump since going public with the baby news last month. On Wednesday, she recorded an appearance on U.S. talk show The Ellen DeGeneres Show, for which she donned a white bodycon dress which hugged her changing figure in all the right places.
During her interview, Khloe admitted that she hasn’t updated her wardrobe with any maternity pieces as yet – and is in no rush to do so.
“At the beginning, the first trimester is the worst and no one knows you’re pregnant yet and you feel the most uncomfortable,” Khloe said of the initial stages of her pregnancy. “I think once people know you’re pregnant, you get all the excuses. Hopefully I look pregnant, not just fat. It’s hard for me to breathe right now… I’m gonna try to not wear maternity clothes as long as possible.”
Host Ellen also asked Khloe whether she has any intention of marrying Tristan in the future. However, the mother-to-be referenced her ill-fated marriage to Lamar Odom, who she wed after just one month of dating, as the reason for not rushing into tying the knot with her basketball player beau.
“I hope so, we’re not in any rush for that,” she replied. “As you know I’ve rushed quite a few things before. Right now, I’m so loving the place I’m in and very happy with how things are going. We talk about it for sure… What’s meant to be will be.”
Kardashian also told Ellen that she would name her baby Tristan Jr.- after its father – if she gives birth to a boy.
