Liverpool fans blame FSG over Coutinho Barcelona transfer – 'Stop making us look weak!'

PHILIPPE COUTINHO is edging ever closer to joining Barcelona, and Liverpool fans know exactly who they're blaming for his departure.

Coutinho is closing in on a move to Barcelona which could be worth up to £142million, with the Brazilian expected to join the La Liga giants in the next few days.

Sports journalist Carme Barcelo claimed the deal is while appearing as a guest on Spanish show El Chiringuito TV.

Barcelo are expected to launch a formal bid for the playmaker in the coming days after rejected three bids for Coutinho last summer.

Coutinho handed in a transfer request before the start of the season in an attempt to force a move, while the 25-year-old is reportedly now ready to go on strike in order to push through the transfer.

However, certain Liverpool fans refuse to blame the player and have instead targeted Reds owners Fenway Sports Group claiming they are being in weak and do not have the club’s best interests in mind.
