12 Indian fishermen arrested

Sri Lanka Navy today (Jan. 04) arrested 12 Indian fishermen for encroaching the Sri Lankan waters.
 
Three vessels of the apprehended fishermen were also taken into custody.
 
The fishermen have been handed over to the office of Jaffna Fisheries Director for investigations.
 
The SLN personnel also apprehended 13 Indian fishermen with 3 trawlers yesterday for encroaching the Sri Lankan waters.
