11 persons were admitted to Galgamuwa Base Hospital following a van accident occurred in Galgamuwa on the Anuradhapura - Padeniya main road this morning (Jan. 04).
Police said the van had veered off the road and hit a tree after the driver had fallen asleep at the wheel.
Hospital sources said 8 of the injured persons were transferred to Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital for further treatment.
