AD CP receives Food Control Authority team

ABU DHABI: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received, in Qasr Al Bahr, a delegation from the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, ADFCA, accompanied by Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the ADFCA.

Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed welcomed the delegation and had a friendly conversation with them while reviewing their procedures and key modern systems related to achieving the authority’s goals and food control policies, as well as its studies and research on food safety, and its plans to support sustainable agriculture and preserve natural resources.

Sheikh Mohamed affirmed, to the delegation’s members, their vital and prominent role in keeping pace with the latest developments, achieving food security, guaranteeing food safety and quality, and promoting health awareness among the community.

The delegation’s members expressed their happiness at meeting Sheikh Mohamed while highlighting their duties to preserve the safety of people, improve the quality of their work and performance, and contribute with the country’s other institutions, to advancing the nation’s development.

Defence delegation

Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received a delegation from the National Defence College, led by Major General Rashad Mohamed Salem Al-Saadi, Commander of the College.

Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed welcomed the delegation and was briefed about the most important academic programmes and the latest training curricula in the college. He noted that the college reinforces the scientific march of the UAE in line with the country’s vision aimed at providing the best educational and knowledge centres to enhance the skills of national cadres in various sciences to serve the comprehensive development process witnessed by the country.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed wished the members of the administrative and teaching staff good luck in their endeavour to achieve their goals and the scientific message of the college.

He underlined the importance of continuous development, modernisation, and exchange of information and expertise with international research centres and think tanks.
