(MENAFN) Qatar's GDP is estimated to see an increase from 1.2% in 2017 to 3.5% in 2018, assuming that Barazan project came on stream.

In its 2018 first quarter economic outlook for Qatar, NBK forecast Barzan to put in 20% to the country's total gas output.

Even though Qatari economy remains on a tight spot, NBK experts guaranteed that economy is in the process of recovery after the conflict passed as imports are going back to pre-crisis levels.
