Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho given transfer advice to help Paul Pogba
MANCHESTER UNITED have been backed to complete the signing of Jorginho in order to help Paul Pogba move to a more advanced role for the club.
Former West Ham goalkeeper Shaka Hislop thinks the Napoli star would be the perfect fit for the Red Devils.
Jorginho is more of a defensive midfielder and has impressed in Serie A this campaign.
The Italy international moved to Napoli from Verona in 2014, making 111 Serie A appearances to date.
“I think it will (be a good fit),” Hislop said on ESPN FC.
“I say this because you see Manchester United, you see how good Paul Pogba was in a more advanced role.

“Maybe Jorginho is the man if Jose Mourinho is intent in playing with two midfielders in front of his back four.

“If that allows Paul Pogba to play further up, that’s great for Pogba, great for Manchester United and certainly a hit for Jorginho as well.”
United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan could make exit this club with a return to Borussia Dortmund on the cards and Hislop believes it would be a good move for the Armenian.

“I’m going to put this down as a hit again,” he added.
“Mkhitaryan, fantastic footballer. Going the way of Shinji Kagawa, goes to Old Trafford, doesn’t quite work out, goes back to Dortmund and looks outstanding.”
United return to action tomorrow night against Derby in the FA Cup third round.
Pogba has been in good form this season, netting three times and providing seven assists in the Premier League.
