Physical therapy facility relocates to Valley West Hospital

SANDWICH – Appointments have begun at the new Northwestern Medicine Physical Therapy Sandwich location on the second floor of Valley West Hospital, 1310 N. Main St., Suite 202.

The program moved to the hospital from its old physical therapy location at 1 E. County Line Road when its lease expired.

Tammy Farrell, marketing specialist with Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, said the rehabilitative services offered, including massage therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy, will continue. A full list of therapies and medical conditions the facility treats is available on the KishHealth website.

Farrell added that the space will be shared with the hospital’s cardiac rehab program.

All insurance plans that Kishwaukee Hospital accepts also are accepted at this location, as the service is an extension of Kishwaukee Hospital’s Physical Therapy Department.
