Polk County Sheriff's Office deputies were investigating an Amtrak train vs pedestrian crash resulting in one death that occurred about 4:50 p.m. Wednesday. The location is U.S. 17/92 and Bates Road in unincorporated Haines City. 

No further details were available and the Sheriff's Office said the investigation is ongoing.
