Eden Hazard penalty: Danny Mills explains why Chelsea were right to be awarded spot-kick
DANNY MILLS saw no issue with the decision to award Eden Hazard a penalty for Hector Bellerin’s foul on him as Chelsea and Arsenal shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw.

A thrilling encounter between to top four rivals saw an entertaining first half but it was the second half which caused all the drama.
Jack Wilshere scored his first Premier League goal for Arsenal since 2015 to give his side the lead.
But there was controversy minutes later when Bellerin was adjudged to have fouled Hazard in the box with the Belgium stepping up to slot the penalty kick past Thibaut Courtois and level the scores.
There was fury in the Arsenal dugout accusing Hazard of diving with the commentators on Sky Sports also arguing that the Chelsea winger had made the most of the contact.

However, former England international Mills believes how much contact there was doesn’t matter.
“You have to go by what the laws of the game are,” Mills told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“Bellerin went to kick the ball, missed it and kicked Hazard.

“It doesn’t matter how hard he kicked him. He kicked Hazard and it’s foul therefore it’s a penalty.”
Chelsea looked to have stolen all three points in the closing stages of the match as Marcos Alonso put his side in front.
But Bellerin made up for his error earlier in the half with an excellent finish from inside the box to earn his side a point.
