Jehangirabad police have booked three persons for attacking a 24-year-old youth with sharp edged weapon at Mominpura under Jehangirbad police station area on Tuesday.
Police said that a youth was attacked with sharp edged weapon by three persons. The injured youth was rushed to Hamidia hospital where his condition is reportedly stable.
The injured victim was identified as Mohammad Ehsan of Mominpura. The victim in his complaint stated that he had a fight with Anas and later he was attacked by Anas along with Zuber and Kaleem.
Investigating Officer ASI Ashok Sharma said that the victim Mohammad Ehsan works as driver for a pick up van and used to park his vehicle near his house. Few days ago he found that one of the side mirror was found broken and he got information that Anas was involved in the act and engaged in verbal spate with Anas and they were pacified by the locals.
Later to settle score Anas along with two others attacked Ehsan wihth sharp edged weapon and was attacked in his hand and head and escaped the spot, he added.
The details of the three could be revealed after they are nabbed. The crime record of the three would be investigated. The three went absconding after the attack and are still at large.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 307 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
Police said that the condition of the victim is reportedly stable and is undergoing treatment at Hamidia hospital.
