A 30-year-old film producer alleged that his iphone, cash bag containing Rs 1.5 lakh and laptop was stolen from his BMW car in Gole Market area on Tuesday evening, police said on Wednesday.
According to the film-maker, Kunal Sharma, accompanied by his friend Mritunjay parked his car near the Bhagat Singh Place. Within a few minutes after Kunal returned, he found the window of his car broken and his belongings missing. Police said they have registered a case at Mandir Marg police station.
Confirming the incident, Additional Commissioner of Police (New Delhi), B K Singh said, "A film producer reported theft of his valuable documents from his BMW car parked in front of Bhagat Singh place, Gole market by breaking rear seat window glass."
Accordingly, a case has been registered at Mandir Marg police station.
