The 68-year-old reality star, previously known as Bruce, vented her anger at the presenter, 52, after she took offence to a question he asked about her changed body parts since transitioning to a woman in 2016.

The outspoken host held a male doll of Caitlyn resembling her time as Bruce, an Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete.

Pointing at the doll, Piers asked her: “How does your physique now compare to what it was like then? Obviously certain areas we know…"

A distressed Caitlyn interrupted and said: “See you made a comment there and that’s why you would get in trouble, ok?”

A shocked Piers pulled a puzzled face back at the star before Caitlyn continued: “You said 'of certain areas,' that to a trans person is disrespectful.”

The confused host asked: “Is it really, why?” 

Caitlyn replied: “Because you don’t make a joke about that…”

Piers pushed his luck further and asked "why not?" 

A furious Caitlyn explained: “Because it’s not funny. It’s life, it’s a part of my life and a very serious part of my life and I take that very seriously. And out of respect for myself and the community, it’s not something that you joke about.”

“It’s something as I said before, this is serious stuff, people die over this issue, it is not a joke.”

In an attempt to conclude the awkward debate, Piers replied: “It’s very educational,” to which the pair finally agreed.

Caitlyn further spilled that she wasn’t ready for a relationship as a woman, after being married three times as Bruce, with her most recent marriage to Kris Jenner officially ending in 2015.

She said: “My life is very busy and I’ve had three marriages. I have 10 children, I’ve got 12 or 13 of the grandchildren.”

 “I don’t think I would ever, I just don’t see it. I don’t see it in my future.”
