FENI: An on-duty police constable was killed when a loaded truck ran him over in Amtoli area of Feni town on Wednesday morning (January 3).
The deceased was identified as Provat Sing, 55.
Officer-in-Charge (OC, Inspector) of Feni police station Rashed Khan Chowdhury told Banglanews that the accident left the policeman dead on the spot around 11:00 am. Police seized the truck and detained the helper. However, the driver managed to flee the scene.
