The ex-Southampton centre-back became the world’s most expensive defender after signing for the Reds on New Year’s Day.
And he looked overjoyed when he finally donning the famous jersey at Melwood on Tuesday (January 2).
The Dutchman was filmed jogging around the training pitch in the short clip posted by Liverpool.
He also shared a joke with new manager Jurgen Klopp.
And fans watching the moment absolutely loved it.
“He looks happy, welcome to the best club in the world,” one wrote.

The 26-year-old has admitted Liverpool is the “perfect match” for him and his family.
