Christine Phillips in Cowpens emailed to let us (and you) know about a new line dance class that begins Monday. There are a few more openings in the class.
The class will be taught by a Rockin’ with Rhythm certified instructor, Patricia Margarita. Christine says she is an “amazing teacher.”
The classes will be 1:15-2:15 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays at the Timken Center.

Writes Doris Turner: “And now there is fine dining and fine art in downtown Spartanburg. The Palmetto Grill and Lounge is looking ‘uptown’ with the art of Linda Page Hudgins and Doris Turner.
“Over the holidays, they discovered a really healthy menu and it is getting better with the emphasis on the Mediterranean diet offerings. Jeff Wardat, the proprietor, was gracious and open to having a coordinated artful installation by Linda and Doris. For many years they have traveled and painted together and had a studio downtown in the '90s. Presently, Linda continues her abstract drawings and paintings in her Arcadia studio, and Doris works out of her home in Spartanburg. They both are represented by Saatchi Arts.
