A Thomaston woman was killed in a crash near Greensboro Tuesday night.
Shaqila Moni Jones, 24, was driving a vehicle involved in a collision with another vehicle at 9:05 p.m. on Alabama Highway 61. She was driving a 2016 Hyundai Accent that collided with a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Marion resident Charlie Lee Tubbs, 72, according to Alabama State Troopers.
Jones was pronounced dead at the scene. Tubbs was treated for injuries at DCH Regional Medical Center.
Troopers are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
