The Saint Louis Zoo welcomed eight cheetah cubs born on November 26 at its River’s Edge Cheetah Breeding Center.

It’s the first time a litter of cubs of this size has been born at the zoo.The zoo said the birth of the three males and five females is the first time a female cheetah has produced and reared on her own a litter of eight cubs at a zoo, out of 430 litters documented by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.Mother Bingwa and the eight cubs will reside in the breeding center for several months, and the care staff is monitoring the family closely.
