One in, one out planned at Man Utd: £40m Moura wanted on loan, Darmian exit talks imminent

MANCHESTER UNITED want Lucas Moura on loan in January - but Paris St-Germain are demanding a £40m permanent switch next summer as part of any deal.

Moura has been a long-term target for the club.

The Brazilian midfielder was a target for the Premier League giants back in 2012 when Sir Alex Ferguson was still in charge at Old Trafford, but he opted for PSG over United.

The Manchester giants are ready to try again for Moura this month, report The Sun.

Jose Mourinho is said to be keen on snapping up the player on a loan deal.

But a potential hitch in any transfer could be PSG’s wish for a temporary switch to include the obligation for a permanent transfer next summer in a deal worth £40m.

Moura is said to have already held talks with Chinese club Beijing Guoan about a loan deal, but he’d be keen on moving to Old Trafford instead with a spot in Brazil’s squad for the World Cup in Russia firmly on his mind.

His potential arrival comes as Matteo Darmian eyes the United exit.

The full-back is well down the pecking order under Mourinho and he’s getting sick of not playing enough games, having turned out just three times since October.

Roma and Juventus are keen on the Italian international and it’s claimed by The Sun that his representatives are heading back to his homeland this week for talks over his future.
