Aussie takes on World’s greatest off-road race
This weekend (Saturday 6th January) Toby Price will be competing in the Dakar Rally, he is not new to the race having won the title back in 2016 but crashed out last year due to injury, but he is back and in the best form to potentially take the title.
The race itself is an off-road endurance event spanning over two weeks and thousands of kilometres! On average, half the contestants that start, do not finish due to the rough terrain and extreme speeds.
It’s the ultimate test of man and machine as a fleet of motorbikes, cars, buggies, quads and trucks race along a spectacular 9,000 kilometre route that winds from Lima, Peru, through Bolivia to the finish in Córdoba, Argentina.
