Yucatan has welcomed a brand new theme park in December, and it is quite close to Merida.
And this new theme park is dubbed Baxal Ja.
It comprises water slides, games, wave pool, surf tracks, farms and also ecological interactive areas. This complex can be found on the Yucatán Fair site that is based in X’matkuil.
In total¸ the 30,000-square-meter Baxal Ja had cost around $4 million to be built. Mexican officials are hopeful that this park would be offering regional people and visitors with a destination that keeps them coming back over again, year after year.
Rolando Zapata Bello who is the Governor of Yucatan had told the regional media that this space offers children and youngsters with a place of family coexistence that contributes to strengthen the social fabric and security.
This is because it offers alternatives to lead a healthy lifestyle.
Inside the park’s ecological-interactive areas, Baxal Ja would be featuring a butterfly farm with a laboratory and also an aviary.
Here about 300 birds of 56 varieties can be found. This property also has a farm with animals like mules, goats, ponies, llamas, sheep, roosters and other creatures. This facility would also be featuring a visitor’s access booth, doctor’s office, bathrooms, dressing rooms, terraces, walkers, food area and more.
This theme park is open Tuesday to Sunday every week.
