EE hit by major customer service outage

UK operator EE suffered a major outage of its customer service on 01-02 January, with customers unable to reach its call centre or access the MyEE online accounts. EE said the issue was related to a technical issue at a data centre that serves its call centre.

The company restored the services in the afternoon of 02 January and apologised to customers for the inconvenience.
